A QUESTION THAT IS COMING UP FOR ME IS.....

- Who are all these beautiful KLCC people? I want to know more.

- Sustaining and re-balancing collective leadership as individual leadership pops up.

- How do you move from inspiration to motivation?

- Anyone here interested in non-violent communication?

- I want to know more about LLC learning labs.

- Can you have collective leadership without one individual being accountable or somehow facilitating the effort?

- What characteristics of individual leadership foster collective leadership? Facilitative, curiosity, secure in self, focus on the desired outcomes.

- What needs to happen when a leader has to step back?

- Why were we not asked for permission for picture taking during session - "candid shots" disruptive and intrusive.

- Does collective leadership mean that individual leadership is not explored?

- How to sustain the fresh energy and creativity of collective leadership over time?

- Do children spend too much time infront of the TV instead of interacting with each other? Are they losing on socialization skills?

- If computers are down what is Plan B?

- Is distributed leadership the same as or the polar opposite of collective leadership?

- What is the real meaning of collective leadership?

- Is the speed in which technology can create social change a good thing?

- Does collective mean equal?

- If the day is open space and that's what we've been told all along - why are so many sessions being used as platforms for programs/presentations? That does not engage me.

 

ONE THING THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO ME IS......

- First day was way too long; hard to be "up" or "participatory" during second day.

- Vegetarian, protein choices for the meals.

- Same discussion earlier on about what we mean by collective leadership. I fear people bring different definitions and many assume we are talking about the same thing.

- Can we take little stretch breaks each hour? I'm willing to lead some....(Jennie)

- I am very interested in the collective evaluation process. However, it is on the last day. Can we have a mini-meeting sometime during Open Space tomorrow? I don't want to miss it. (Karen Banks)

- Healthy small snacks like peanuts to bring energy in middle of sessions.

- Make the sessions more accessible and interactive for people with disabilities - "IXnay the 'blind references."

- Can we mix up the groups? It would be nice to get a chance to interact with many others.

- A question for the group - have you heard of second life?

- Opening session led by Dale: questions ahead of time would have been helpful for people who need reflection. Also, seems that Dale and Odin/Omi are not together on what we are doing. Questions layered on top of questions- disjointed. (Another participant comment written next to this comment: I disagree, they work beautifully together.)
